The Beautiful Island
The island of Jersey covers a compact 45 square miles and lies in the secluded English Channel, between England and France. Much of this unspoiled coastal beauty is picturesque countryside. This consists largely of open fields, woodland with a multitude of wildlife and breathtaking views from cliffs and headland.
The open fields are always filled with a bounty of local produce, whether it be the humble Jersey Royal to the regal Jersey Cow. From the beauty of the bluebells, primrose and wild daffodil to the secretive barn owl, and if you're lucky, even a red squirrel!
Jersey has a spectacular 50 miles of coastline with a multitude of sandy beaches winning awards for the cleanest in Europe. The west coast is the perfect location to find a secluded spot and gaze at the spectacular sunsets.
The Island is known to combine the excitement of London with the culture of Paris, creating the perfect balance of work and play. It's also the warmest place in the British Isles, with more sunshine hours and an average temperature of 21ºC in August. You'll love to lounge around, soak up the sun and catch that all important tan.
These are just some of the aspects that make Jersey the perfect place for adventure seekers, nature lovers and the most laid back of people. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
